Nearly 32 years later the Love Canal area has not seen any type of revival. It still remains a deserted plot of land composed of overgrown vegetation, pot-holed infested streets, and a seemingly lifeless community. Despite it being declared safe by the EPA, community members are forever scarred by this disaster and continue to shy away from the area. What can the city or the federal gov’t do to help bring back residents to this area of the city? How can this area be used in the future? Will this land forever remain desolate? Will the cloud of Love Canal ever be lifted?
IT IS NOT SAFE FOR HUMAN HABITATION....THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN OFFICIALS DO THE WRONG THING. THIS WAS CREATED BY THE SCHOOL BOARD'S AND HOOKER'S OUTRIGHT CORRUPTION.
